Based on the recent reports from the battlefield, it seems that the Syrian conflict is heading towards the end.  As the things stand, it seems that the Assad government will win the 7 years war against the various militant jihadi rebels and their foreign sponsors. We have seen the agony and the consequences of the conflict, and now it seems that the focus in Syria is already turning from war, displacement and destruction to reconstruction, reconciliation and peace.

Middle Eastern region is haunted by the specter of militancy and crisis since the region witness the wave of Arab Spring in 2011. The revolutionary wave spread across the region and anti – government protests started in many Middle Eastern states and resulted in many political upheavals. This so-called democratic revolution was a beginning of worst humanitarian catastrophe in Syrian Arab Republic

It seems the element of instability is always present in the middle east. From the Palestinian issue to the Syrian civil war, the region is constantly facing security and geopolitical challenges. Also, it seems that there is no country that is immune from this instability. Turkey is no exception and the recent events just show that the situation in this regional power is heading into dark clouds.

The middle east has always been a region that has been initiating various wars and crisis. From the crusaders to the persistent Israeli – Palestinian conflict, it seems that there is no end to the confrontations. The situation in the middle east is also complicated by the various regional and global powers and their geopolitical interests.
