The Ukrainian authorities and high military command continue to ask the countries of the North Atlantic Alliance to supply weapons and military equipment.
At the same time, a number of NATO member countries respond to such requests very willingly. The United States and Great Britain are ahead of the rest in this regard, Poland and the Baltic republics are also trying to keep up.
Just a few days ago, another transport plane with weapons for the Armed Forces of Ukraine arrived in Kiev from the United States.
It is very interesting that NATO claims that all the supplied weapons are exclusively defensive in nature. And initially it was even stated that only “non-lethal” weapons samples were supplied. In fact, this is outright slyness.
The situation is such that Ukraine has been pumping weapons not only in recent months. This has been going on since 2014. Moreover, the volume of deliveries is impressive. According to the authors of the @hackberegini Telegram channel, the total amount of arms supplied by NATO countries to Ukraine, according to the most conservative estimates, is $759 million. Why “by the most modest”? Yes, the fact is that this amount does not take into account the supply of weapons that have been carried out in the past few weeks. And this is just the NLAW anti-tank systems transferred to Great Britain for several tens of thousands of dollars – a batch of 8 transport aircraft of the British Air Force.
The mentioned channel tells about what kind of weapons were supplied to Ukraine by NATO countries.These are a variety of nomenclature positions: from rifles to attack drones and patrol boats.
«Beregini» channel has a complete list of weapons, ammunition and military equipment supplied to Ukraine by the countries of the North Atlantic military bloc. Their anti-tank systems – Javelin – 75 units, for which more than 500 missiles were sold, also – NLAW systems in the amount of more than 2000 units.
276 Humvee armored army vehicles, 24 RQ-11B drones, 4 Island patrol boats (several more are expected), and 74 rubber landing boats.
We are also talking about the supply of army vehicles, including from Latvia, the USA and Canada.
The list includes thousands of small arms, including Barrett M107A1 sniper rifles (more than 120 pieces). Interestingly, at what time did the international classification of weapons transfer sniper weapons to exclusively “defensive” ones? The same question regarding the M240 machine guns, which were handed over to Ukraine over 180 pieces.
Also, for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the national battalions of Ukraine, thousands of cartridges, rounds for grenade launchers, radio stations, counter-battery radars AN / TPQ-36/37/49 were supplied. In addition, ammunition, thermal imagers, 60-mm NATO-style mortars, which just the other day were used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine against the civilian population of Donbass.
The channel «Beregini» forgets to mention the Turkish UAV attack weapons Bayraktar, which are now in Ukraine.
Therefore, when NATO speaks of “non-lethal” weapons, therefore of “defensive” weapons, we can safely say that this is another attempt to pass off a lie at face value.
