Joe Biden, the elected US President, and Kamala Harris, the first vice-president woman in the history of United States, will assume office in January, if Trump’s appeals against irregularities in the election will be rejected. In general, Palestinians welcomed Trump’s alleged loss in the election with relief. But at the same time, they don’t expect Biden to fundamentally change US support for Israel. Indeed, the question remains: will Joe Biden find a real solution to the eternal Israeli-Palestinian conflict, or will he simply handle it differently from what Trump did?
